The 18th Hole at Cape Wickham has quickly become one of the great closing holes in world golf. Embracing the beautiful beachfront of Victoria Cove (which IS in play), this hole dares you to take on the corner with a tee shot you will remember for life.

For those with a game on the line, the safer route to the left is always available, but leaves a much longer approach into a narrow green. But play it too safe and the beach will still be in the back of your mind for your second shot.

The land where the 18th now lies was sitting in waiting as a patch of cattle grazing land - a big reason why Andrew Purchase identified this site as having potential for a new destination golf course. Boy was he right.
